
GINOA (London Dry Gin)
From the cultivation of the quinoa in the fields of Hessen to the triple distillation in Alembic pots, the bottling and labelling, this pure quinoa gin is crafted by hand.
This unique gin is distilled exclusively from a pure Quinoa alcohol created in traditional “Alambic” stills known since those ancient times and using their technique today to extract and retain valuable essences. They alone are responsible for the particularly large amount of the basic floral and citrus character of quinoa to be carried from the grain into the distillate.
Parallel to the first cultivation of quinoa crops by the Inca tribes in the Andes, innovative distillation techniques were being developed by the Greeks. This was over 5000 years ago
Today- Ginoa is the first London Dry fashioned Gin, combining the millennia-old traditions of these two ancient cultures.
The following botanicals are added after the second distillation process - juniper berries- lemon peel- bitter orange peel- elderflower- lime peel- ginger- physalis. Following a soaking period of two days the third and final distillation is executed.
